Sameer Seth is a restaurateur and, with Yash Bhanage, co-founder of Hunger Inc. Hospitality, the group behind The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Veronica's and The Bombay Sweet Shop, now among Mumbai's most popular places to eat. A chemistry graduate of St Stephen's College in Delhi with an MBA from IIM Kozhikode, he began in banking before realising his interest lay in restaurants, learned the business in New Delhi, and took a master's in hospitality management at Cornell. In New York he worked with Daniel Boulud at Bar Boulud and Danny Meyer at North End Grill, and met the late chef Floyd Cardoz, who became his mentor and a business partner when Hunger Inc. was founded in 2013. He has partnered with Starbucks, and balances consistency with creativity and storytelling.
